A few weeks ago we had the priviledge of photographing Chris and Danica’s wedding at Nathanael Greene.  They are a great couple and the wedding was perfect. Here are a few images to prove it!

We had a very busy weekend . We had one team of photographers at Newport Aquarium and one team at Paul Brown Staduim. We love photographing weddings and have been fortunate enough to work with great couples and families. Here is a sneak peak at some of the images from Chris and Susan’s wedding:

Today I photographed the 2010 Clermont Chamber Business Expo held at Receptions in Eastgate. I captured some great images and met a lot of great business professionals.

Back in November I had the chance to photograph a maternity session and then the newborn a few days after the birth. Newborns are so fun to photograph.  They are so beautiful and peaceful(usually). Here are two of my favorite images.  The first is from the maternity session and the second is mother and child.  I hope you love them as much as I do.

Last Friday and Saturday we were at a small bridal show in Old Milford at Allybeads. We met some great people and we even booked a few weddings! There is a new cupcakery in Old Milford called Sugar.  I was able to sample a few and they are amazing. Here are a few pictures.  Yum!

Sometimes when we are shooting we don’t always have the ideal location or situation. In these instances we do the best we can. Our philosophy is to get it right in the camera at the time of the session but this is not always possible.  Often there are one or two more steps we can take to refine an image to make it just a little better. We often tell our clients not to let a small detail of an image stop them from choosing it. Especially if it is their favorite image.  We can fix eyes, smiles, expressions, etc.

A few weeks ago a client called to schedule a business portrait at the Metropolitan Club in Covington, Ky. They wanted the Cincinnati skyline in the background. The challenge at the Metropolitan Club is the widest window is three feet wide, so there are pillars in the image.  We did some work and were able to take out the offending pillar and get a composition and view of the city.  Check out the before and after.

This is a family portrait from back in October. They were a lot of fun. I was really wanting to show a relaxed close family pose and do something different for me.  I think we got it.  They look great and the kids were awesome.  Camera/Image  Specs: Canon EOS 5 D MKII, 24-105 f4.0 L, ISO 400, 1/100.  Fill flash on camera, off camera flash- Quantum Trio 1/16 power, shoot through umbrella from camera right.

Last Saturday we were fortunate to photograph Brandon and Courtney’s wedding in Felicity, OH. They are a great couple and their wedding party and family were great to work with.  Here are a few of her bridal portraits. The link to her whole session is here.

I have just finalized a few trips out west this summer and fall. It will be a great time. I will be visiting family but also be available for sessions in Utah county and Salt Lake Valley.
